California’s farmers and the entire hemp value chain must work together to ensure our voices are heard. The entire supply chain development depends first on farmers and their ability to produce a profitable crop. As an Agriculture Trade Association, our tax-deductible status is based on farmers as the only official voting members, but that doesn’t mean we don’t need others to join us in the fight. We are working to build a strong and diverse organization where farmers, processors, manufacturers, and activists, can come together and develop the tools and the political power to foster a vibrant hemp economy in California and the Western US. We welcome the ideas and energy of every passionate hemp advocate to our organization.
Hemp Farmer Membership
The Foundation of the Industry. As the only registered agricultural trade association for hemp farmers in the state, we depend on the support, ideas and energy of farmers to build a healthy industry. As agriculture in California is buffeted by water shortages, unworkable regulations and excessive taxation, it is critical that farmers stay engaged in the process of building a regulatory framework that they can work within.

Allied Hemp Industry Business Membership
Suppliers, Processors and Manufacturers - Supporting farmers by providing products, consulting and support, and of course, by purchasing the crops farmers produce. Regulation and the high cost of doing business in California has thinned the number of farmers to just a few hundred, but Allied Hemp Businesses in California are powerhouses. We need the support, ideas and engagement of the rest of the hemp industry in the state to help build a future in hemp that works for all parts of the value chain. The industry will only survive in California if we all work together with a common purpose.
